New lead and copper data in Michigan raises questions about lead in water

Michigan water utilities have completed the first round of sampling under the new Michigan Lead and Copper Rule. The new sampling procedures do a better job of detecting lead that may be present in drinking water, and as a result we have seen more water utilities exceed the lead action level. Matt Smith at WXYZ-7 invited me to discuss lead in drinking water, and I joined Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha to answer questions about lead in drinking water in a Facebook Live panel.
